My name is Riley Baum, and I’m a forth year Product Design student at the University of Oregon. I’m passionate about creating sustainable, functional designs that blend simplicity with purpose.

About me

Through my coursework, I’ve developed a wide range of skills, from digital tools like Adobe CC and CAD, to hands-on techniques in sewing, woodworking, whittling, physical rendering, and ceramics.

I’ve come to appreciate the full design journey from sketching ideas to prototyping and building final products. I’m excited to keep growing as a designer, learning from classmates, professors, and any opportunities that come my way.

Most recently, I attended ICFF, the International Furniture Fair in New York, while displaying my Kerze portable lamp design. I enjoy sharing creativity and learning from others while talking about my design process.
